A new Tractor for Chidamoyo

The Trustees have just decided on our latest project. We aim to raise £13,000 to buy an new tractor.
The tractor which the hospital has was bought second-hand 13 years ago and it is always breaking down and in need of constant repair.
In this country a hospital is very unlikely to need a tractor but in rural Zimbabwe it is essential.
The tractor is used every day to collect firewood to cook food and to boil water. Although there is mains electricity no, it is frequently off for days and sometimes weeks.
There are important building projects under way and a tractor is needed to collect sand for making bricks for building projects.
and to move the bricks from ovens to building sites.
As the hospital grows much of its own grain, a tractor is necessary to plough the hospital fields
Hospital vehicles often break down nearby because of the very poor roads and the fact that many hospital vehicles are themselves old and worn-out. Then a tractor is need to pull them out.
A new tractor for the hospital would directly and indirectly benefit the whole community at Chidamoyo.
