Young Crowthorne girl donates birthday money to Chidamoyo

Six- year- old Sophie Dewson decided that instead of getting lots of birthday presents this year, she would ask for money to be donated to the Chidamoyo Trust. She was inspired to do this by her mother, Sarah, who had already raised £200 through a sponsored slim. On the fridge in the Dewson home are pictures taken in Chidamoyo of a young boy and a mother and baby . When asked what she would like her money to be used for, Sophie said that she hoped it would give food to hungry children. The £177 which Sophie donated will certainly be very much appreciated.
