RICS Charity Auction raises 1,605 Euros for Chidamoyo

Shortly before Christmas Gillian was invited by Ursula Hartenberger from RICS (The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) to attend an auction in Brussels to raise money for the Chidamoyo Trust.
Instead of having the traditional Office Christmas Party this lovely group of people held a charity auction which was conducted by Paul Mooney from Savills. Most of the arrangements very efficiently made by Raluca Iagher. Before and during the auction the guests were kept happy with copious amount of champagne and delicious canapés.
The auction itself was great fun. Most guests came away with at least one item. Most of the goods were authentic items from Zimbabwe. They included story quilts made by the patients at the Chidamoyo Hospital and curios which Gillian purchased during a recent trip to Africa.
Our thanks go to this enterprising group of people whose generosity will make a substantial difference to others very much less fortunate than themselves.
